Li Sirong, the esteemed Director of YARACE’s Translation Center, has been appointed to the Eighth Council of the Translators Association of China (TAC), following a rigorous election process. Her tenure is set to span five years.　　

　　Ms. Li Sirong expressed her profound honor in being appointed as a member of the council. She described this conference as a major event in China's translation community. According to Ms. Li, this conference highlighted the achievements of Chinese translators over the past five years, and set clear development directions and goals for the TAC for the next five years, thus reinforcing the confidence of translation professionals, and enhancing the global standing of China's translation industry. She pledged to diligently perform her duties, maintain close communication and cooperation with the TAC, and contribute to the advancement of China's translation endeavors.
