The Third Meeting of the 6th Standing Committee of Hunan Association of Science and Technology Translators and Interpreters convened on August 8, 2022 at Changsha University of Science and Technology. The meeting facilitated fruitful exchanges and discussions on such topics as the establishment of a collaboration platform integrating government, industry, academia, and research, the formation of academic, public relations, intelligence departments within the association, and the exploration of government-industry-academia-research cooperation mechanisms under the Belt and Road Initiative and of university-enterprise cooperative education models for translator training. Additionally, the agenda encompassed talks on the science and technology translation exchanges and seminars in 2022 and on the arrangements for the annual conference this year.

　　During the meeting, Hou Caiyun, General Director of YARACE, shared insights on university-enterprise collaboration, "YARACE is always placing immense value on translator training. For years, we have prioritized university-enterprise collaboration, demonstrated by long-term partnerships with many higher education institutions in the province. Looking forward, we are committed to reinforcing these alliances and further integrating with colleges and universities to ensure a steady supply of high-quality language professionals in support of the Belt and Road Initiative."
